So as of 1 April the EPO offers:
- New Online Filing 2.00 (link)
- Online Filing 2.0 (OJ 2021 A20 ) (actually newer technology than New Online Filing 2.00)
- Online Filing 5.12 (link) (the higher version number actually indicates that this is the 'oldest' technology of the three methods).
- One of these three systems can actually be used in offline mode, if you prefer burning a DVD and sending it to the EPO using courier service or mail (link)
- The EPO of course also offers web-form filing, moreover ePCT can also be used with the EPO as rO. link
- PCT-SAFE is no longer accepted for filing PCT applications by the EPO as rO, as of 1 July 2020, OJ 2020 A59
- Note that the ADA, as amended per 1 April 2021, still refer to the filing of debit orders with : "EPO Online Filing or PCT-SAFE, ... with Forms PCT/RO/101 and PCT/IPEA/401" (OJ 2021 A26)
